Well, as I am sitting here on this beautiful Monday morning, my stomach is turning and I am getting nervous. I finished my last weekend of long rides, and now we only have a few short rides left until we start. Our training is complete. It has a weird, anti climatic feel to it. All these long hours in the saddle - in the snow and scorching sun has come to an end.
We have 10 days to go before we start, Megan gets here in less than one week, I still have lot’s to get ready and prepare and our start time for the prologue race has been assigned. We are team 464-1 and 464-2. This is all so bittersweet to me, because I want this race to start now, but I also know that when the Epic is all over and done with, so is our visit to South Africa and all our family and friends.I posted some photo’s of a xc ride in Jonkershoek, a hold up in Franschoek, and a few others…
