Measure your improvements-find the best lines with DMC!

I just got my bike set up with the DMC Moto trainer, and I have to say I’m pretty impressed with it. It has one button on it, so it’s really simple to use. While it holds up to 100 “Laps” this timer works amazingly for doing split times on a particular run or trail section. All you have to do is push the button (mounted in easy reach of your thumb) when you start, and then push it when you enter the section you want to time; push it again at the end of the section; then push it at the end of your run. The timer will look like it’s still running, but then when you are ready to see your results, you just hold that same button for a couple seconds, and all your “Laps” (splits) are easily displayed. This is such a simple and useful tool for anyone looking to improve their riding or looking to track their results during training. You could time a climb on an XC Loop, a split on a dh track, and of course it keeps track of total ride time. All this and it’s only 17 GRAMS! One of the things I notice about riders who aren’t even necessarily practicing for speed, is that as they improve, they get faster. This is because as you apply better form, you will find new ways of getting through terrain much more quickly and safely. So even if you aren’t looking to race, but just want to see how your new found skills are helping your times on the trail, this is a great investment at only $49.00 (free shipping and no tax!). I think it’s one of the best products of the year. As a coach and a rider, I highly recommend working with the ultimate judge of speed; the clock. I’m off to do further testing of the timer at Round 3 of the Fluidride Cup, and to get some runs on one of my favorite circuits; Mt Hood!
