43 year old Bart McDaniel (Center Cycles) has been riding at warp speed all season, and this week, Bart proved he can still win races amongst the countries and worlds best riders.

We just got back home after spending the last 10 days up in Whistler bike paradise for the Crankworx festival. As usual it was a week filled with racing, music, riding, parties and good friends in a beautiful mountain setting. I decided to race the Garbanzo DH and then skip all the other events to just ride the park and have fun. The Garbanzo was the first gravity event of the festival, which meant that I had one day to practice before the race. It was pouring down with rain – as it has done the whole summer, so it was nothing new to me. My goal was to get through the tough top section of In Deep in these treacherous, muddy, slippery conditions, and to then start racing and pedaling as hard as I can.  (more…)
