Whistler Camps 2012
| Spend 3 days riding Whistler Bike Park with Fluidride founder and 2 time Downhill Master’s World Championship Medalist Simon Lawton and guest instructors including: Whistler Legend Katrina Strand, World Cup ripper Chris Kovarik, 2011 World Championship DH Bronze medalist Claire Buchar, and 2010 Pan Am Games Champion Katie Holden. All of our instructors are pro riders and Whistler locals with PMBI Level 2 Certifications.
These camps are for adults (ages 12 and up) who are looking to dramatically improve their riding over a three day period through a mixture of hands on instruction and video analysis. While at Whistler, we’ll take advantage of some of the best progression zones around to work on jumping, dropping, and bike park specific skills, then break into small groups and ride a variety of trails based on ability and rider interest. While having a great time riding, we’ll work on transforming your body position, footwork, cornering, and ability to descend technical terrain with style and confidence. Camps go from 10am-4:00pm each day with a one hour break for lunch. New for 2011, we’ve added one 2 day weekend camp in September. The rest of camps are Wednesday-Friday.

Refund and Cancellation Policy: Students will receive a credit toward future instruction with Fluidride should their clinic be canceled for any reason. Students canceling 14 days or more prior to the camp will be given full credit toward future instruction with Fluidride. No credits or refunds will be made within 14 days of the start each camp. Riders may transfer (sell) their spot to another rider by contacting Fluidride with the name and contact information of the rider to replace them. All riders are required to sign waivers – riders under the age of 18 must have parent/legal guardian sign their waiver.
