FLUIDRIDE CUP FINALS! 3 in a Row for Bart McD.

dsc_0253-copy.jpgWell, the first Fluidride Cup Series has come and gone, and was a huge success. The finals at Mt Hood Oregon served up sunny skies and Malache’ (perfect dirt) conditions. There were a lot of fast guys and gals present, and the racing was tougher than ever.

FR Cup #5: Bart McD wins second in a row!

Sunny skies and warm temperatures greeted the 160 plus riders who showed up for round five of the Fluidride Cup Scotty Graham Memorial Race on Mt Hood. My weekend started on Friday with some epic runs down the nearby Glade Trail at Timberline Lodge with fellow Fluidride rippers Lars Sternberg and Casey Northern and our friend Javier from Chile. Fluidride Cup #2 “Justice Served”/Results

The weekend of racing started with the dual slalom on Saturday. The men’s pro division saw a repeat of round one, with Fluidride/Virtual Descent riders Lars Sternberg and Casey Northern taking the top two spots. Ethan Mutoli (Rotec) and Ben Storar (Cannondale) rounded out the top four. Leanna Gerrard (Cannondale) took top honors in the womens division, besting Katie Holden (Katieholden.com) for the top tier of the podium. Fluidride Cup #1

The first Fluidride Cup in history has gone down as a huge success. We had 235 riders entered in Sunday’s Downhill, and 41 racers entered in Saturday’s Slalom. There were 15 pros, 14 Semi Pros, and 3 Pro women in attendance. We handed out over 50 temporary licenses to first time racers, and 47 annual memberships!
