A special announcement from Simon:
I’ve just received news from Whistler that third-party vendor policies have dramatically changed with the new ownership by Vail Resorts. Due to the changes, it’s simply not possible for us to offer our camps with our current pricing structure. As such, we’ve decided the only option is to cancel our camps and give riders a full refund.
After more than a decade of relationship-building with the resort, we are very disappointed it’s come to this. We’ll certainly miss being up there for a portion of summer each year. We also hope the new policies won’t adversely affect our many friends who own businesses in Whistler and who have become like family to us. I know they will miss our presence, business and support.
While I know many of you will be disappointed, please understand that I am as well. We’ve worked really hard to get our program in Whistler to its current state, and I was particularly excited for our biggest year yet. Not to worry, though. As you likely know, Fluidride is a very successful company and will continue to bring you lots of great stuff, including future lift-served instruction in other locations.
We’ll do our best to point you in the right direction should you be in need of instruction on the mountain in Whistler, and hope many of you will still decide to make the trip up north. Whistler is simply incredible.
We ask for your patience as this change has really caught us off guard during our busiest time of year.
Thanks for both your business, and your understanding.
Owner | FLUIDRIDE
Our Whistler camps are for adults (ages 12 and up) who are looking to dramatically improve their riding over a three-day period, through a mixture of hands-on instruction and video analysis. We're also bringing back the popular Women's Only Camp! We will have a coed addition to the Women's Camp, but don't worry ladies, if you signed up for Women's Only, we'll keep that intact!
While at Whistler, we’ll take advantage of some of the best progression zones in the world to work on jumping, dropping, technical riding, and bike-park-specific skills. Then we’ll break into small groups and ride a variety of trails based on ability and rider interest. And for you racers, of course we’ll work on speed.
While having a great time riding, we’ll work on transforming your body position, footwork, cornering, and ability to descend technical terrain with style and confidence. Camps are led by Fluidride Owner Simon Lawton. Celebrity instructors include Whistler legends Katrina Strand, Chris Kovarik, Brett Tippie, Adin Daneker, and Claire Buchar. All of our instructors are pro riders and Whistler locals with plenty of teaching experience.
Camps run from 10am-4pm each day with a one-hour break for lunch. All classes have a 4-to-1 student-to-teacher ratio.

Refund and Cancellation Policy:

Students cancelling 14 days or more prior to the camp will be given full credit toward future instruction with Fluidride for up to one year from the date of cancellation. No credits or refunds will be made within 14 days of the start of each camp. Riders may transfer (sell) their spot to another rider by contacting Fluidride with the name and contact information of the rider to replace them. All riders are required to sign waivers – riders under the age of 18 must have a parent/legal guardian sign their waiver. No cash refunds available after payment. Fluidride is not responsible for potential weather-related cancellations of the lifts in Whistler.
