This is a shuttled trip, so you don't have to plan on too much pedaling! The trails here have a fun mix of technical descents and playful flow trails, from smooth rollercoaster-style trails to rocky, steep EWS-style descents that Finale is famous for.
Non-Riding Activities:
On our Finale trip, there are many non-riding options for riders who want to take the day off, or travel partners who want to spend little to no time on the bike. Costs associated with these activities are not included in the trip price unless the activity is specified as being a part of the itinerary. Some non-riding options are:
Walk through the ancient village of Finalborgo
Take a hike to explore Castel Gavone
Be captivated by the old church of Basilica San Biagio
Visit the medieval centre of the village at Borgion Verezzi
Grab some gelato and pizza at one of the many fantastic places around
Head down to one of the many beautiful beaches of Liguria

Accommodation
The Rider’s Guide
Arrival
We encourage you to fly into Nice Airport (NCE) on the first day of your trip. Your Fluidride guides will meet you at NCE for pickup and shuttle you to your accommodation in Finale Ligure. Check-in time is 4pm on the Saturday your trip begins.
Travel Insurance
Trip protection is required to protect your investment. We suggest World Nomads, however, you may choose who you are insured by. We recommend a plan that has coverage for the cost of the trip, airfare, and any medical emergencies that may arise. Insurance is inexpensive and covers you for more than just the purchase of your trip. We’ve had students use their insurance due to legitimate reasons for cancellation and were able to recover the cost of their trip. Please help us (and yourselves) by taking this step.
Cancellation Policy
Departure
On the last day of our Finale Ligure Mountain Bike Tour, your Fluidride guides will shuttle you back to the airport unless you have chosen to extend your stay in Italy outside of Fluidride or have other airport accommodation. Check-out time is 10am the Saturday your trip ends.
Pack for the Weather
May in Finale Ligure is mild. The average overnight temperatures are in the low 40°s F. Bring clothing that can be easily layered, and expect to ride in 50°-100° temperatures. Don't forget your rain gear! While the shuttles cannot run when the trails are wet, these days can become pedal days.
