What Does a Typical Tour Look Like?

Sample Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival Day

Arrival day in Todos Santos! We’ll enjoy tacos and music around the pool, meet the other guests on the tour, get set up on bikes, and discuss our week ahead.

Day 2:

Rise and shine in paradise!  There will be some basic breakfast supplies in your room, or you can enjoy a beautiful outdoor breakfast next door at La Esquina under the palms trees.  Then we’ll hop on our bikes and get some cornering tips with Simon so you can better prepare yourself for the unique terrain and desert corners.  You also have the option of pedaling up Sierra Madre, a gentle ridge line overlooking town.  This is a great spot to catch sunrises and sunsets if you’re feeling ambitious later in the week!

We'll finish off the day with dinner and sunset right on the beach, at the famous Green Room restaurant.

Day 3:

Today we’ll adventure out to La Ventana on the other side of the Baja peninsula, famous for their riding and kiteboarding. The flowy rollercoaster-style trails of this town end right on the beach, and you’ll hear hoots and hollers resonating down the hillside as you gaze over the gulf of California.

We’ll stop in El Triunfo, a quaint town on the way home for wood-fired pizza and other treats.

Take a short walk from the hotel for festive street tacos, or wander into town to try a fun local restaurant!

Day 4:

We’ll start the day with a morning ride at the nearby Las Tunas trails, which has great options for riding fun loops! Then, rest your legs with some afternoon beach time or surfing in a neighboring town. We’ll have an evening ride at Sierra Madre, and then an optional dinner out with the guides.

Day 5:

Enjoy morning coffee and breakfast beneath gently swaying palm trees, then we’ll ride over to Old Port, passing a local fishing spot and old cannery on our way.  From here we’ll pedal up a saddle overlooking dramatic rock cliffs, then traverse and descend down to a remote beach that looks like it only exists in destination-magazine photos.  Dubbed the “sparkle beach”, we’re often graced with wild horses and other beautiful wildlife.

Upon arriving, Simon will meet you on the beach with a beautiful farm-to-table spread of sandwiches, salads, snacks, chips, and dips from Agricole. We transport anything you’d like to have on the beach, so you can change into a swimsuit, play games on the beach, and swim in the surf.

Following our beach time, you’ll have the option of pedaling back or hopping on a shuttle truck home!  Relax by the pool or set out on the town to enjoy the culture and dinner out.

Day 6:

Today we’re headed to Rancho Cacachilas for a full-day adventure, including lunch. Along with local guides, we take you on technical blue and black trails through the Sierra Cacachilas mountains with views of Rancho and Cerralvo Island at the summit of climb. These private riding trails have been a huge hit, and offer a wide variety of terrain.

Upon returning to Todos Santos, you’re welcome to relax around the pool, explore the town, or join the guides for a dinner night out.

Day 7:

Catch a gorgeous sunrise and then hop on your bike for a local morning ride.  You’re free to enjoy lunch at your leisure, relax by the pool, or go shopping in town to bring a little Mexican culture home with you.

In the evening, we’ll all gather for a group pizza dinner by the pool to toast to our great week together.

Day 8: Departure Day

Enjoy your final morning in paradise! We’ll shuttle you to the airport in time for your flight.
