Welcome to Intermediate Air 2-Day!

This class focuses on jumping and dropping, and includes all of the curriculum from our Air 101 and Air 201 courses. This helps riders clean up their jumping technique and improve consistency on tabletops, before progressing to gap jumps. Having two sessions back-to-back has proven highly effective in solidifying new skills.

Intermediate Air 2-Day covers:

  • Air 101:

    • Jumping tabletops

    • Dropping

  • Air 201:

    • Progressing into gap jumps

Who: Riders 16+

Level: Intermediate+ (Riders signing up for this course should be able to clear small to medium sized tables and have the desire to tackle gap jumps)

Prerequisite: General comfort jumping

Duration: 2 days x 2.5 hours each

Location: Duthie Hill Mountain Bike Park, Issaquah, WA.

Where to meet: The group will meet in the central clearing of Duthie Hill park, next to the large covered shelter. Plan on arriving early (we recommend 20-30 min) so you have time to park and pedal into the clearing.

What’s Next?

After this course, we often recommend:

  • Air 201 to reinforce the techniques you learned, and get more consistent practice on gap jumps

  • Air 202 for riders looking to tackle larger table tops

  • Advanced Air to tackle bigger jumps and work on style in the air
