KAGEN TEACHES ADULTS OF ALL LEVELS
Kagen specializes in helping adults build solid foundational skills and/or help them keep up with their kids.
Classes are assumed to be at Duthie Hill Park. Up to 3 Riders per class. Need more time, have more riders or want another location? Scroll to the bottom of the page to Contact Kagen directly.
Kagen picked up his first mountain bike in 2017 and immediately began coaching for the Boy Scouts of America in southern West Virginia and after relocating to the PNW in 2018, he found an all new passion for coaching and developing his own skills. Kagen says, “the Pacific Northwest is unlike any other place he’s ever been to and it’s the perfect stomping grounds for building all-around riders”.
Kagen is a FIT Level 1 & 2 Instructor in his 3rd year coaching with Fluidride. He has experience riding with and coaching brand new and professional level riders of all ages. Kagen believes that anyone can learn to ride like the best riders in the world and by doing so, it will allow them many years of growth ahead. With a highly technical teaching background, Kagen enjoys using that knowledge to get his students to make breakthroughs in their riding and their fun factor!
Kagen is particularly passionate about helping riders overcome the sensation of feeling plateaued in their riding abilities and breaking through the mental barriers of jumping. Kagen says, “Once you’ve felt yourself floating through the air in control, you’ll be chasing that feeling for the rest of your riding career”.
Based out of Tacoma, WA, Kagen is a great option for riders south of Seattle looking to hone their skills in popular locations like Swan Creek and Tiger Mountain. Don’t worry, if Duthie Hill Park is your jam, Kagen also offers up a bunch of lessons there as well.
