Rosemary Allan, Instructor
"As a beginner rider I was spending more time crashing than enjoying the trails and was on the cusp of giving up the sport. I decided to try my first class with Fluidride which transformed my riding and I was forever changed and inspired by Simon’s methods."
Rosemary has been a valued part of the Fluidride team since 2021, where she serves as a youth coach and also supports the company behind the scenes through marketing and tour logistics. Her kind and gentle demeanor makes her a perfect fit for helping young riders build confidence on the bike in a supportive, encouraging environment.
With 31 years of experience teaching children from preschool through 5th grade—currently in the Lake Washington School District—Rosemary brings a wealth of patience, insight, and instructional skill to her coaching. She’s excited to blend her love of teaching with her passion for the outdoors by helping kids discover the joy of mountain biking. Her goal is to inspire a love of riding and nature, while instilling values of community, respect, and care for the trails.
A mother of three adult children, Rosemary has always appreciated each child’s unique strengths and finds deep fulfillment in helping them grow into their potential. When she’s not on the trails, she can be found hiking, backpacking, birdwatching, or logging serious miles as an avid runner. Sharing her passions with her students, her family, and her broader community is what brings her the greatest joy.
